Although there are a number of issues that can arise in a remote draft beer system, the majority of them are fixed by knowing how to address the most common issues.
Almost all issues are the result of three issues:
- wrong temperature
The keg should be stored between 36-38° F, and that temperature should be maintained all the way to the point of dispense. - wrong pressure
The CO2 pressure should be between 12-14 lbs. - dirty lines
Have the faucet, beer line and keg coupler cleaned on a regular basis, using the proper chemicals specifically manufactured for beer and hose cleaning.
